We, Monika and Rony Camenzind, manage the organically certified mountain farm Oberebnet at 1,170 meters above sea level with great passion, now in the third generation. Rony grew up on Oberebnet and took over the farm after completing his agricultural training. Monika is a trained primary school teacher. Together, we have four children, three of whom are already grown-ups, all of whom enjoy coming back home to Oberebnet.
On our farm, we keep goats, chickens, two donkeys, and about ten cows with their calves. On our farm, the calves stay with their mothers after birth, drink their mother’s milk, graze on pasture, and are fed hay in winter. They spend a lot of time outdoors, on summer pastures or in winter enclosures with straw bedding. Our animals use meadows and pastures in a gentle, extensive manner.
